Jaw Crusher

A jaw crusher reduces material primarily by compression between a fixed jaw and a moving jaw. The cyclic movement draws feed into the crushing chamber and reduces it until the product can pass through the discharge opening.

Applications

Jaw crushers are widely used for primary crushing in quarrying, mining, aggregate production and recycling. They are particularly suitable for large feed sizes and hard rock.

For granite, crusher selection should consider feed size, abrasiveness, required capacity, jaw opening and downstream crushing stages. Exact capacity and product grading depend on the crusher model and operating settings.
