Single-Shaft Mixer
A Single-Shaft mixer is a concrete mixer in which mixing arms and paddles are arranged along one horizontal shaft. The rotating mixing group blends aggregate, cement, water and admixtures inside the mixer body.
Applications
Single-Shaft mixers can be used in ready-mix concrete production, site batching plants and low- to medium-capacity production lines where their mixing principle suits the concrete recipe.
Drive and Maintenance
Drive configuration varies by mixer capacity and model. The current MakMach technical data includes 0.5 m³, 1 m³ and 2 m³ models and lists dual-motor arrangements for some configurations. Exact motor, gearbox and shaft details must be checked against the relevant mixer model.
Wear and Service Components
Typical service items include mixing arms, paddles, liners, shaft seals, bearings, drive components, lubrication equipment, discharge-gate parts and covers.
Selection
Mixer selection should consider compacted-concrete capacity, fresh-concrete capacity, loading capacity, motor power, automatic lubrication, recipe and required cycle time.
The Turkish legacy text contains contradictory statements about continued production during a fault. No universal fault-tolerance claim is made in this English version; safe operation must follow the actual machine design and maintenance instructions.
